Born in Istanbul in 1981, Dr. Nilüfer Çetinkaya Kocadal completed her medical education at the Uğur Derman English-language Medical Program at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. After completing her specialist training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yeditepe University Hospital, she worked briefly at Zeynep Kamil Training and Research Hospital, before completing her subspecialty training in Gynecologic Oncology and Surgery at Ankara Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Training and Research Hospital. After completing her civil service obligation as a specialist physician at Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital and receiving the title of associate professor, she worked as a teaching assistant in the Gynecologic Oncology and Surgery Clinic of Istanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. Between 2020 and 2024, she worked as the physician responsible for education and administration in the Gynecologic Oncology and Surgery Clinic at Istanbul Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, and in 2023, she served as chief physician of the Gynecological Oncology and Obstetrics Hospital. She continued her studies in Sweden between 2024 and 2025 and also received Swedish Medical Physician equivalency. Since September 2025, she has been working as a Gynecology and Obstetrics and Gynecologic Oncology Surgery Physician at Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Hospital. Her primary areas of interest are gynecology and gynecologic oncology, and she has published numerous articles in national and international journals. She is married and has a daughter.
